Have a great employee that you want to support as they develop their trade? Trade
related instruction programs at Delta are designed in partnership with local industry
leaders to provide top-notch training to great employees.

We can help you create semi-customized education plans so in the end, your employees
gain the skills and knowledge they need to help keep your business competitive.
Delta College is already a well-established educational partner, supporting employers in meeting workforce demands across more than a dozen ‘traditional’ apprenticeable careers. But as the demand for highly skilled talent grows, we continue to expand our partnerships with regional employers to develop Registered Apprenticeship Programs in ‘non-traditional’ fields such as healthcare, information technology, and education.
Is an apprenticeship right for your organization?
- Do you have job openings that are consistently hard to fill?
- Do you have positions with high turnover rates?
- Is your current skilled workforce reaching the age of retirement?
- Are you having difficulty attracting new and more diverse talent pools?
- Does your current workforce need help keeping pace with industry advancements?
If you answered 'Yes!' to any of these questions, you should consider apprenticeship.

When a four-year apprenticeship only requires 576 clock hours, an associate degree with over 900 clock hours may be more than you need. Instead of a full associate degree, we can work with you to create a semi-customized program that fits your company’s training needs and complements your on-the-job learning.
Streamlined application process
As soon as you notify the Apprenticeship office of a new apprentice, we’ll provide a dedicated application link to identify them as a ‘sponsored student’. This helps ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Progress tracking
By sharing your program requirements with us, we can monitor your apprentice's academic progress.
Class scheduling
Based on your needs and course availability, the Apprenticeship Office can also recommend classes and help you register for Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer semesters of the next academic year.
Your dedicated liason
We can serve as your point of contact for instructors, the Admissions office, the Registrar’s office, and Student Billing. Additionally, you are invited to join our semi-annual Apprenticeship Advisory Board meetings to help us stay ahead of trends and help us keep our training relevant.
