Gallery

The Gallery adds a breath of fresh air to every day at Delta. Featuring an array of different types of art, from painting and ceramics to textiles and mixed media, the Gallery is a great way to pass time between classes and get a little culture along the way. You might even find yourself meeting a featured artist, be drawn to take an art class yourself and discover a new passion. 

 

  

What you'll find in the Gallery

Current students are encouraged to display their work at the annual Delta Art and Design Student exhibition. Every year, dozens of students’ works are displayed in the Gallery. Students who are selected for recognition also become recipients of cash awards, provided by the Delta College Foundation.

Gallery exhibitions

Delta College’s Art and Design faculty work to create exhibitions within the Gallery space on campus including:

• Year-round exhibitions by contemporary artists
• Artist lectures and informal gallery talks
• Annual faculty exhibition
• Annual student exhibition

Exposure to working artists benefits Delta College’s academic students as well as the community at large. Interactions with guest artists, through lectures and gallery talks, can also benefit K-12 students as an avenue for exposing high schoolers, in particular, to the quality of Delta College’s Art and Design academic degree.
