Delta College’s Board of Trustees has begun the search to identify the next president
of Delta College. The board would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude
and appreciation for the outstanding leadership and service provided by President
Dr. Michael Gavin throughout his four years as our president.
The board is committed to conducting an equitable, inclusive, and transparent national
search that will attract a strong pool of candidates from throughout Michigan and
the nation. The trustees have selected the Association of Community College Trustees
(ACCT) to assist us with the presidential search process. ACCT’s assistance will include
providing support with the development of the presidential profile, recruiting highly
competitive candidates, working with the search advisory committee and assisting the
board.
The Board of Trustees has announced that the search is underway to identify the next president of Delta College.
Applications and nominations for the position of president of Delta College are currently being accepted until the position is filled. The target date for applications is February 9, 2026.
