New guaranteed transfer pathways have been established between Delta College and Wayne State University's (WSU) global studies, history and welding technology programs.

Through this collaborative agreement, students can complete their associate’s degree and transfer up to 75 credits toward a bachelor’s degree at WSU, allowing them to save up to $20,000 in tuition and fees.

Delta students transferring to WSU will be granted junior status and potentially qualify for several awards. All Delta students would be eligible for WSU’s Community College Transfer Housing Scholarship of up to $5,000 annually toward on-campus housing costs. Students who participated in the Michigan Reconnect program would be eligible for a Reconnect Transfer Award of up to $2,000 annually. And students transferring in with a 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible to apply for renewable merit scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $6,000 annually.
