    A Chocolate Affair

Last November, Delta College held its annual Possible Dream fundraising event, A Chocolate Affair, at HORIZONS Conference Center in Saginaw.

Over 600 tickets were sold, and attendees raised over $108,000 to help keep the dream of attending college within reach for students in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Possible Dream is a program that provides cultural and educational opportunities to promising students in grades 6-12 who may not view higher education as a possibility. Since 1992, approximately 2,650 students, and counting, have received support to stay on their academic path toward college.

    2026 commencement

Delta College graduates, and their loved ones, gathered on the main campus recently for two days of celebration. The first commencement ceremony recognized graduates in business, technology and health. The second ceremony honored graduates in arts and letters, science and mathematics, and social sciences, as well as those earning all other associate’s degrees and all dual-enrolled or Early Middle College students.

Together, about 450 graduates attended the ceremonies. This academic year, Delta College will award nearly 1,600 associate degrees and certificates.
