General Motors has powered Delta's auto program since 1979

”Our automotive programs at Delta College would be decades behind in technology if it were not for the continued support from General Motors,” shared Jim Miller, assistant professor and automotive program coordinator.

In addition to their generous donation history, General Motors has partnered with Delta College to offer the GM Automotive Service Educational Program (GM-ASEP)— the longest-standing partnership in the program’s history.

The GM-ASEP is accredited through the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation, which ensures students receive invaluable hands-on classroom experience.

Through established internship sponsorships at GM dealerships or ACDelco Professional Service Centers, students get to immediately apply their newly acquired skills in the field.

Graduates of the program leave Delta College prepared for a successful career in the automotive industry, having completed all the GM-required technician training and earning an associate’s degree in automotive service technology.
