The Delta College Foundation Board of Directors recently welcomed two new members
to serve on the board. This voluntary position invites prominent community members
to share their time and talent in support of the Foundation’s mission. We are grateful
for their dedication to Delta College.
Todd E. Clements
Bay County
Clements works at 1st State Bank as the senior vice president and business lender. He is an alumnus of the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw, Leadership Midland and the Henry Marsh Institute for Public Policy. Clements is actively involved in the Great Lakes Bay Region, serving as a member of the City of Bay City’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, a trustee for the Bay Area Community Foundation, past chair of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and past chair of the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy.
Alexis S. Thomas
Saginaw County
Thomas works for the Morley Companies as the senior human resources consultant. She is an alumna of Saginaw Valley State University and is a graduate of Saginaw High School where she participated in several sports— including track and field, basketball and cross country. Thomas is actively involved in the Great Lakes Bay Region, serving on the Saginaw Public Schools board, the board of Saginaw STEM, the board of the Saginaw African Cultural Festival and is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Zeta Omega Zeta Chapter.
Officers of the Delta College Foundation this year are Paul Barbeau from Midland County, chair; Heather Gallegos of Bay County, vice chair; and Herb Spence, III from Saginaw County, immediate past chair.
Marcia L. Thomas of Saginaw County has completed her term. The board would like to thank her for her service.
