Student Resources

Many times, we need to provide students with helpful resources that allow them to succeed during their time at Delta. Below you will find many services that will guide you in supporting students. 

Bookstore

Browse all products and services on the Bookstore's public website at bookstore.delta.edu or view the online merchandise catalog.

Counseling

Delta offers many counseling services. Fill out a counseling intake form to be matched with a counselor. Crisis hotlines are also available through Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties. 

Crisis Support

If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, contact Campus Safety.  If it is taking place outside of normal hours, call a county hotline listed below. Otherwise, contact the counseling office or walk to D102 to connect with a counselor.

Delta's Closet

Delta's Closet is an on-campus retail store is available to help students find professional clothing at no cost.  

Disability Resources

Sometimes students need an accommodation to support their learning. Delta's Office of Disability Resources strives to create an equitable, accessible environment for all students.

Food Pantry

Times can be scheduled to arrange a pick up from the Food Pantry at the main campus or downtown centers.  In case of emergency, Campus Safety has a small supply available during off hours.

Library

The library offers several resources for faculty such as assistance with research instruction, OER, copyright and chat.

Medical Services

Delta College has partnered with Great Lakes Bay Health Centers to bring convenient healthcare services to our students. 

Mental Health Support

Delta College, in partnership with Uwill, offers students free immediate access to mental health support through its easy to use online platform, as well as a mental health crisis line.

Substance Misuse Support

Delta College has partned with Ten16 Recovery Network to offer the Collegiate Recovery Education & Wellness (CREW) program to students. CREW offers a comprehensive response to issues related to alcohol and other drugs. The program integrates a collection of prevention, early intervention and peer support activities. 

Testing Center

The Delta College Testing Center provides exam administration and related services to current students remotely and in person.  Appointments are required.

Title IX

In additional to protecting students from sexual harassment, Title IX also supports students through pregnancy and parenting challenges.

Transportation

Whether traveling a distance to campus or living around the corner, our local mass transit partners offer several convenient and sustainable transportation options for our students.

Tutoring

Students may chat with the tutoring desk to schedule up to two 45 minute sessions per class per week.
