This 200-hour program is designed to provide technical training on the instrumentation skills used in the processing industry. 

Individuals with mechanical backgrounds who work in fields such as chemical processing, agriculture processing and the semiconductor industry may benefit from this training. Upon successful completion of this career credential program, you will also earn academic credit. This will save you time and accelerate the pace at which you can earn your academic certificate or degree at Delta!

This program is offered to the general community annually. You do not need to be a Delta College student to take this training. Please email us and you will be notified of the next start date.

  • pressure measurement introduction
  • temperature measurement
  • level measurement methods
  • flow and analytical measurement
  • controllers
  • control loops
  • process diagrams
  • control valves and more

Learning assessments are provided for each training topic with successful completers earning a minimum of 70% on total assessment. Official documentation substantiating your successful completion of this program will be submitted by Delta College Workforce Strategies unit to the Registrar’s Office so the articulated credit will be awarded and kept on record for future use. You don’t have to do anything. Just know your earned credits are automatically reflected on your student record.
