The welding program combines specialized welding training with related technical and general education courses to give you the knowledge you need to be successful in the field.
This is a laddered program, meaning the knowledge and credits from each program apply toward the next as you advance your education. You can earn a certificate of achievement, advanced certificate and associate's degree. You can even transfer your credits to earn a bachelor's degree.
At Delta, you get welding lab classes that provide hands-on training to help you succeed. You will use state-of-the- art equipment to learn SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding.

Program details
Our programs prepare you for a career in welding technology. After just one semester, with the Welding Certificate of Achievement, you will have the skills needed to start an entry-level
welding job. With the Advanced Certificate, you'll advance your specialized welding
training and learn blueprint reading skills. The Associate of Applied Science furthers
your welding training with related technical and general education courses. The associate
meets the education requirement necessary to pursue a bachelor's degree in a variety
of welding careers.
