The Saginaw Transit Authority Regional Services (STARS) and Delta College are proud to announce an expansion to their current partnership that will provide free rides on all STARS fixed routes to Delta students, faculty and staff.
Beginning October 1, anyone holding a valid Delta College student or staff ID may ride the STARS fixed-route bus system at no cost simply by showing their ID when boarding.
In the meantime, the Delta Direct shuttle is actively running and provides free round-trip rides from Saginaw to main campus and the Downtown Saginaw Center Monday through Thursday for Delta College students, faculty and staff during the fall and winter semesters.
“This partnership with STARS expands opportunities for our students and employees while further supporting the community,” said Shelly Raube, vice president of Student Empowerment and Success. “Removing the cost barrier for transportation makes it that much easier for students to focus on learning and achieving their goals.”
