The current Delta College website launched in 2017 and was designed with desktop users in mind. But since then, the number of visitors who access the site using a mobile device has increased significantly. In response, the new site was designed with a “mobile-first” approach, allowing for a more consistent user experience between mobile devices and desktop computers. Additionally, accessibility standards have changed enough that starting with a fresh site made it simpler to ensure compliance.

Several new web tools will debut next week, including the Transfer Path Finder and the Cost Calculator. With the plethora of transfer agreements and transfer pathways between Delta College and other Michigan universities, it can be difficult for students to find and understand what options are available. The new Transfer Path Finder tool allows students to explore transfer agreement options by college or university or by program of interest, providing a simplified process to help plan their futures.

Delta College has the lowest in-district tuition within a 75-mile radius. To ensure transparency of tuition and fees, the new Cost Calculator will serve as a guide for estimating the total cost of a student’s selected program.

The transition to the new website should be smooth with no expected disruptions to access to web content.
