Digital Forensics

Delta's Digital Forensics Post Associate Certificate is designed to provide you specialized knowledge in digital forensics. The program offers theoretical, practical and technical instruction designed to meet an ever-increasing demand for law enforcement, security and correctional personnel who require specific training in digital forensics and cybercrime.

As a graduate of this certificate you may supplement your criminal justice degree and experience with knowledge in the use and practical applications of digital forensics. The certificate will aid in digital forensic work as a: police officer, corrections officer, conservation officer, juvenile officer, private security, detective, special agent or continue your education to obtain work as a digital forensics examiner.

About Delta's Program

The Digital Forensics Post Associate Certificate at Delta has been designed to prepare you for challenging positions in the rapidly growing field of cyber-investigations and digital forensics in a law enforcement. As a graduate of this certificate you may supplement your criminal justice degree and experience with knowledge in the use and practical applications of digital forensics. The certificate will aid in digital forensic work as a: police officer, corrections officer, conservation officer, juvenile officer, private security, detective, special agent or continue your education to obtain work as a digital forensics examiner.

Students desiring to work as a police officer might be required to complete a regional police academy and meet MCOLES licensing standards to be employable.

At the Teaching Learning Center, located in the Library, we offer tutoring on a wide variety of subjects, and help with developing study and learning skills. Most tutoring is on a walk-in basis but we do have some online tutoring options.
