MiTransfer adds new programs, ensuring smooth transfer for more Delta students

April 9, 2021

The second phase of the statewide MiTransfer Agreement now includes six new areas of study, making it easy for more Delta College students to complete essential courses before deciding where to transfer.

The expanded list of programs now includes communication, mechanical engineering, social work, art, exercise science and public health. The new transfer agreements are different from others because they outline major-specific courses that students should complete while enrolled at Delta.

The MiTransfer Agreement, which launched in May 2020, initially included the areas of biology, business, criminal justice and psychology. The statewide initiative was created by the Michigan Community College Association, in partnership with 25 Michigan colleges and universities.

Delta advisors are available to assist students in planning a course schedule and how those courses apply to degree programs at participating universities. Schedule an appointment on Pioneer Connect.
