More than 100 employers are registered to attend Delta College’s Great Lakes Bay Job Fair on Thursday, March 26 from noon-3pm.
The fair, hosted by Delta College on its main campus, is free and open to students, alumni and community members seeking full-time and part-time opportunities.
“We encourage students to take this opportunity to network and gain insight into career pathways with local employers that are ready, willing and able to positively contribute to our regional talent pipeline,” said Dawn Little, career development and student success specialist.
The event is planned by Delta College in partnership with Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, and Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth.

Little said individuals can prepare for the job fair by researching employers in advance and arriving early to map out a plan.
“You’ll only have a few minutes to wow each recruiter so make the conversation interesting, short and memorable,” she said.
Event attendees can use a new, online tool – Big Interview – to learn or brush up on interviewing skills.
Delta’s Career Development office offers additional services and resources, including Delta’s Closet, an on-campus retail store that provides free professional clothing, shoes and accessories for Delta students. Hours of operation vary and are posted on the store’s door, located at D134.
