Administrative Professional Teaching Policy
Administrative/Professional (A/P) Staff are encouraged to participate in professional activities which may include voluntary teaching assignments as A/P Faculty. All divisional/departmental guidelines apply to these teaching assignments.
Any teaching assignment must not interfere with, disrupt, or have any other negative impact on the performance of the A/P staff member’s job accountabilities or the performance of the office. Prior to accepting a teaching assignment, all concerns regarding an impact on the performance of the A/P staff member’s job accountabilities must be resolved between the A/P staff member and the immediate supervisor.
Assignments will be offered to A/P Staff at the discretion of the academic office responsible for hiring Faculty. Teaching assignments require the approval of the A/P staff member’s immediate supervisor and Executive Staff supervisor.
