Administrative Professional and Support Staff Absences


All Administrative/Professional and Support Staff are required to report their absences to their immediate supervisor.


    1. It is particularly important if a staff member is not able to attend work, his/her supervisor be made aware of it as much in advance as possible.
    2. With the exception of absences due to illness or other emergencies, each staff member will make prior arrangements with his/her supervisor when absence is necessary (vacation).
    3. Absences due to illness or emergency will be reported to the supervisor as early as practical.  If the supervisor cannot be reached, the appropriate alternative supervisor must be informed.
