We strive to administer tests in a secure, pleasant, accommodating, accessible and technologically advanced environment with the goal of promoting satisfaction and facilitating academic and professional success.

ACCUPLACER® Appointments

We are excited to see you!  We have returned to primarily in-person testing, and we are happy to be back. We also understand that some students may prefer to test virtually, so we will continue to offer virtual testing options for Accuplacer tests (under Remote/Virtual). Please see the instructions below. If you are unable to find a time that works with your schedule using one method (i.e. remote) please feel free to check on the calendar for the other method (i.e. in-person).

Initial Set Up

Whether taking the test in-person or virtually, all students need to be admitted to Delta before taking the placement test. Please take the following steps to set up your placement testing:

  1. Complete a Delta College application
  2. Receive your Delta College ID number.
  3. Book your appointment on our  Bookings calendar. In-person, remote, and accommodated appointments are all available.

In-person Appointments

Once you have completed steps 1 through 3, you are all set to come to campus at your appointment date/time.  Please be sure to bring a picture ID (Delta ID, student ID, driver's license, etc.) with you to your appointment.

Remote/Virtual Appointments

The day or two prior to your appointment, your assigned proctor will reach out to you with a Zoom link and a voucher code for the placement testing system. Please log on to this meeting at your appointment time, and your proctor will walk you through launching the exam.

Please be sure to have a picture ID (Delta ID, student ID, driver's license, etc.) with you for your session.

Note: Remote testing is only available on laptops, desktops, and Chromebooks. Devices such as iPads, phones, and tablets will not be able to launch the testing platform.
