Students can explore a range of healthcare careers at Camp Health and Wellness, learn new athletic skills at basketball or volleyball camps, or find something else of interest at one of nine teen summer camps planned by The Rock Center for Youth Development.
Is your teen interested in a career in healthcare, but not exactly sure what they want to pursue? They can explore over 20 healthcare career paths during Camp Health and Wellness, June 18 - 20.
Camp Health and Wellness is designed to introduce students, entering grades 9 – 12, to various careers within the health sciences field. Campers will attend hands-on sessions led by local health professionals, college and career center instructors.
Camp is held on Delta College main campus from 9:30am – 1:30pm each day. Campers will have an opportunity to be trained in adult CPR and learn about professional and employment skills. Lunch will be provided all three days of camp.
Complete the registration form and submit a $30 non-refundable registration fee by Sunday, June 9.

All camps are held on the Delta College main campus in Pioneer Gym and led by the Delta College women’s basketball coaching staff and players from the women’s basketball team. Camp shirts are included with all camps but not guaranteed for late registrants. Campers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle and appropriate athletic shoes and attire.
Please register by May 31 and bring payment and completed forms the first day of camp.

June 24 - 27, 8:30 – 11:30am - $90
This four-day youth basketball camp will focus on the fundamentals of the sport learning important skills and drills. This is a great opportunity to introduce campers to the exciting world of women’s basketball at the collegiate level while having fun, making friends and getting active. At the end of camp, there will be an awards ceremony, a game showcasing their newly honed skills and a photoshoot for lasting memories.
June 24 - 27, 12 – 3pm - $110
This four-day intensive camp is for the player who has college aspirations! Campers will participate in a variety of skills-building sessions, one-on-one matchups, skills tests and progression reports. Players are encouraged to bring their own basketball. At the end of camp, there will be an awards ceremony, a game showcasing their newly honed skills and a photoshoot for lasting memories. Each camper will also receive a detailed plan for what they need to improve on as they continue their journey toward collegiate athletics.
June 21 & 22 Check-in at 9am
1-Day: $175/team
2-Day: $300/team
Teams choose between a one-day or two-day camp. One-day teams are guaranteed three games and two-day teams are guaranteed six games. Build trust and learn strategies in a competitive atmosphere. Teams will have opportunities to participate in detailed talks with Delta College women’s basketball coaching staff.
Volleyball Summer Camps
All camps are held on the Delta College main campus in Pioneer Gym and are led by the Delta College volleyball head coach, associate coach and former and current players of the Delta College volleyball team.
Camp shirts are included, but they are not guaranteed for late registrants. All campers should bring appropriate athletic shoes, kneepads, a reusable water bottle and their coachable positive attitudes!
Please register by May 31 and bring payment and completed forms the first day of camp.

June 10 - 12, 9am – 1pm - $110
This three-day youth volleyball camps will focus on all aspects of volleyball including concepts of defensive and serve receive tactics and the fundamentals of passing, attacking, serving and more. This camp is a great opportunity to introduce athletes to the world of collegiate sports while having fun, making friends and getting active!
June 10, 1:30 - 4:30pm - $45
This one-day volleyball camp will focus on running a high school offense, but it will also include some defense and attacking strategies (being a well-rounded athlete is crucial). Campers will work on all tempos and incorporate traditional footwork as well as promote jump-setting.
June 11, 1:30 – 4:30pm - $45
This one-day volleyball camp will focus on improving attack techniques including approach, transition and swing. Campers will get comfortable doing “fun runs” and learn specific tactics such as tooling a block or handling a non-perfect set.
June 12, 1:30 – 4:30pm - $45
This one-day volleyball camp is for EVERYONE! Being able to pass and play defense is key to being a well-rounded athlete. Campers will focus on defensive and serve receive fundamentals, chatter that makes a player stand out and how to cover the court as a team for attack coverage.

In these four-day camps, your teen can take a deep dive into their interests in sports, art, writing, robotics, entrepreneurship and more! The Rock Center for Youth Development has organized nine teen summer camps to be held on Delta College main campus from June through the first full week in August.
