Delta College has again partnered with the Bay County Health Department to host several indoor COVID-19 vaccine clinics on its main campus this summer.
The clinics will take place on July 26 and August 16 from 10am-3pm in room N007, and each one is open to Delta students and community members 12 years and older. No registration is required.
Karl Rishe, vice president of Student and Educational Services, said Delta students who are fully vaccinated and have registered their vaccine with the college will not be required to wear a mask indoors this fall. Anyone who is not fully vaccinated will need to continue to wear a mask.
Fully vaccinated students may also participate in the MI Shot to Win Sweepstakes. The lottery-style raffle gives fully vaccinated Michiganders a chance to win more than $5 million in cash and a combined total of nearly $500,000 in college scholarships. Michigan residents 18 and older who have received one dose of the vaccine are eligible to enter.
The sweepstakes began July 1 and ends August 3. Eligibility criteria is at MIShotToWin.com.
Before arriving on campus, students should complete a health screening and stay up to date with local and national developments, as well as Delta’s response to COVID-19.
