“I nominated Nick for his knowledge, experience and leadership in the area of sustainable building practices,” said Dr. Jean Goodnow, president of Delta. “Nick and his team have implemented a multitude of best practices that have led to national recognition as well as substantial savings for the college. He’s a phenomenal resource for Delta and thinks broadly about sustaining the future of our region’s environment.”

Bovid, from Midland, joined Delta in 2017. In addition to higher education, he has led construction projects in the chemical and healthcare industries. Most recently, he managed the construction of Delta’s new Downtown Saginaw and Downtown Midland centers.

“Each of those jobs has allowed me to see firsthand many amazing businesses, and meet many people who keep this area thriving,” said Bovid. “The most rewarding accomplishment has been the honor to lead the construction of Delta’s new centers, which will have a direct impact on thousands of students over the next several years.”
