“The Monster Light Show” will play one day only on Saturday, October 30.

The Delta College Planetarium will celebrate the Halloween season with a special music show, specially designed for families and adults.

“The Monster Light Show” will play one day only on Saturday, October 30 at 2pm, 3:30pm and 7pm. Created for all ages, the visuals are funny, spooky and sometimes whirl through imaginative landscapes.

Audiences can enjoy classic and favorite Halloween tunes such as “Bad Moon Rising,” “Scary Monsters Super Creeps,” “This Is Halloween,” “Spirit in the Sky” and “Thriller,” all set to fully immersive computer animation and light effects inside the Planetarium’s Dome360 Theater.

“This has become one of our favorite traditions at the Delta Planetarium,” said Mike Murray, planetarium manager. “We like to introduce new special effects each year, some of which are performed live, as in a VJ-style.”

Ticket information

Tickets go on sale at the planetarium one hour before show time. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students, children, seniors and military members. Due to the intense sound and light experience, the show is not recommended for children under 6. Delta College COVID guidelines require face coverings of all participants regardless of vaccination status.
