"Let it Snow" plays at the Planetarium on Thursdays and Saturdays in December.

From Frank Sinatra and Chuck Berry to Burl Ives and Brenda Lee, the Delta College Planetarium will feature festive classics in its family friendly holiday show, now playing in downtown Bay City.

“Let it Snow” plays in the Dome360 Theater on Thursdays at 2pm through December 23 and Saturdays at 3:30pm through December 18. The 35-minute program features thematic animation, special effects and a multi-media finale with music by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, children, seniors and military members; tickets go on sale at the Planetarium one hour before showtime. Theater seating is limited, with tickets available for purchase on site on a first come, first served basis.

Current health guidelines, combined with the unique environment of the Planetarium, requires that all visitors wear face masks regardless of vaccination status. A screening station is located inside the entrance doors, located at the Planetarium’s southeast parking lot at the corner of Saginaw and 6th streets.

Other shows available at the Planetarium in December include “Mysteries of the Great Lakes,” “Life under the Arctic Sky,” and “Perfect Little Planet.” Showtimes and show descriptions can be found at delta.edu/planet or by calling 989-667-2260.

The Delta College Planetarium is located at 100 Center Avenue in downtown Bay City.
