After several months of rehearsals, students in Delta College’s vocal groups will come together to perform two live concerts.

The concerts, one in November and one in December, are led by Tim Hendrickson, associate professor of music and choral director. This is the first time the groups will perform since 2019.

The first annual Fall Choralscapes Concert will take place November 20 at 7:30pm at St. Brigid Church in Midland. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online only at eventbrite.com/e/207523718027.

This year’s event will feature members of the Delta College Chorale, Jazz Singers and Chamber Choir performing works by Vivaldi, Randall Stroupe, Robert Ray, and other choral and vocal jazz pieces.

On December 10, students in Delta’s choirs will gather for the annual Winter Holiday Concert. The College Choral, Chamber Choir and Jazz Singers will perform traditional carols and holiday favorites at 7:30pm in the Lecture Theater on the main campus. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
