Virtual sessions planned to help families determine financial aid options

May 18, 2021

A series of informational sessions about financial aid options are planned for incoming and current Delta College students, and their families.

The sessions, hosted by Delta's financial aid advisors, will cover the Covid-19 pandemic and how it affects eligibility for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Due to Covid-19, annual income projections that are reported in the FASFA may now look different for some families. Individuals who have experienced special circumstances that affect their ability to pay for college may qualify for more aid than the FAFSA first calculated and may be eligible for a special circumstances review.

During the sessions, financial aid advisors will be available to assist students whose financial circumstances have changed and may need to request an adjustment to their FAFSA.

Registration is not required to attend a session.
