As Election Day nears, Delta College is hosting a variety of virtual events focused on voting-related topics and issues.
The events, listed below, are free and open to students and the community. Some events require registration. Visit each event listing at delta.edu/calendar to learn more.
Attendees will be entered to win prizes such as a $500 tuition waiver, Chromebook, $200 Delta Bookstore gift card and a set of AirPods. Each time a person attends an event, their name will be entered into the grand prize drawing.
Change Your World Week

Election Happy Hour: Vote Responsibly
October 27, 5pm on Zoom
Join the Citizens In Action Club for a light-hearted event to demystify the election and break down any potential excuse for not voting. Party-goers will choose their favorite student-generated voting video and win prizes. Prepare a (nonalcoholic) beverage to sip while having some fun with fellow Pioneers.
The Human Library
October 28, 6-8pm on Google Meet
The Human Library is a diversity and equality project that challenges attendees to understand prejudice and dispel stereotypes. Participants talk with people – who pose as human “books” – from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.
Get-Out-The-Vote PARTY
