Marcia Thomas and Stacey Gannon were sworn-in to the Delta College Board of Trustees on Tuesday evening. Gannon is representing Midland County, Thomas is representing Saginaw County and Mike Rowley, re-elected, is representing Bay County. Each will serve a six-year term.
Thomas is the Human Resources Director for APTAR, a global dispensing company. She previously held several positions in human resources at The Dow Chemical Company and was the Director of Multicultural Services for Saginaw Valley State University.
Thomas earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University and a bachelor’s in Industrial Management/Accounting from The University of Akron. She is SHRM-CP certified and Six Sigma Black Belt trained and Green Belt certified. She previously served on the SVSU College of Business Advisory Board and the Underground Railroad Board of Directors.
Stacey Gannon currently serves as the Executive Director of both the Saginaw Art Museum and the Temple Theatre Foundation in Saginaw. She previously spent 33 years in the banking industry, having served as Community President of Citizen’s Bank Saginaw.
A resident of Midland County, Gannon attended Delta College and Central Michigan University studying Business Administration. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Dearborn School of Education and the International Society of Performance Improvement and is a Certified Performance Technologist.
