This is Przbylski’s first EMMY after five nominations and Wells’ second.
"VIETNAM VOICES: Mid-Michigan Remembers the Vietnam War" features 31 local individuals who reflect back on their personal experiences during the volatile Vietnam War era. It explores topics such as the anti-war movement, the impact of television news coverage of the war, Agent Orange, PTSD, the Vietnam War Memorial and more through discussions with anti-war protesters, family members, high school and college students who were eligible for the military draft and two Vietnamese immigrants who came to the United States after the war.
“"My Two Brothers" explores gun violence on law enforcement and its aftermath. It tells the stories of former Pontiac police officer Charlie Johnson and former Detroit police officer Lloyd Michael “Mike” Todd, each shot in the head in separate incidents, and eventually left alone to try and piece their lives back together.
