Employment Outside the College
A/P and Support Staff employees are encouraged to participate in community, civic, and professional activities, which may include outside employment. During their contract year, full-time A/P and Support Staff employees will not, without the written consent of their immediate supervisor and the appropriate dean, director, or Vice President, accept outside employment or participate in activities which make them unavailable to the College for the performance of their professional duties. For those persons employed on other than full-time appointments, arrangements for availability to the College will be established prior to issuing the Memorandum of Appointment. For A/P and Support Staff employees who report directly to the first-line administrator (Executive Staff), the consent of the Office of the President is also required.
