Mechatronics Technology Programs at Delta College

Mechatronics is a field that is tied directly to how manufacturers produce their products. Mechatronics integrates the disciplines of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, robotics, and computer technologies to control equipment. Duties of a mechatronics technician include the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of automated systems. Employment opportunities include the medical field, original equipment manufacturers, food processing plants, manufacturing facilities, and independent contracting.

Want to get a jump start on a fast growing career?

The CNC Machinist Certificate of Achievement Program at Delta College prepares you for entry-level positions to manufacture precision products. You could work in a variety of manufacturing industries such as automotive, aviation, alternative energy, agricultural, medical and communications.

You’ll train to use computer driven machine tools such as lathes, mills, lasers, water jet, electrical discharge machines and grinders to shape materials to precise dimensions.

Classes can be taken in traditional 15 week schedule or in the accelerated format.
