This week, Dr. Jean Goodnow declared support of we are still in. By doing so, Delta College joined over 1,200 businesses, investors, states, cities and other higher education institutions pledging to help the United States deliver on its international climate commitments.

Together, these leaders are sending a strong signal to the international community and the 194 other parties to the Paris Agreement about the continued commitment of the U.S. to ambitious action on climate change. These leaders believe the Paris Agreement is a blueprint for job creation, stability and global economic prosperity.

“Delta has pledged to do our part. We feel it’s important to do the right thing today -- for future generations,” said Goodnow. “If we all work together, there's no telling what we can achieve.”
