You are invited to travel to Spain...
Traveling is a life experience that everyone should have as it will provide you with lifetime memories, stimulate your senses, captivate your curiosity, challenge your taste buds, and provide you with an education not available any other way. Traveling can be a fantastic way to refresh our bodies and spirits, to experience the wonders of a wider world, and it often will enhance your appreciation of your own home, city and country.
You are receiving this notice about our trip to Spain because you have either traveled previously on a Delta College sponsored trip or have asked to receive mailings about future international trips. I have thoroughly enjoyed the ten Delta College sponsored trips I have taken, six of which I organized. There are many benefits to traveling with Delta....but the three most mentioned to me by previous travelers are:

You will form companionships/friendships with your fellow travelers; meal conversations are wonderful; there is always someone to dialogue with as we travel from city to city; sharing of experiences, travel tips, etc. will be plentiful; and if you need an aspirin, band aid or something else you forgot, chances are someone will be glad to come to your rescue.

All of the preplanning will be done for you with a reputable, financially secure company that also provides us with a bilingual tour director who knows the country, sights, culture, food and is willing to assist us in many special ways throughout the trip.

You will have the opportunity to attend pre-trip sessions at Delta which prepare you for the trip as you will be introduced to the geography, history, language, culture, religion, foods and cities you will be visiting. I also will provide you with printed materials, many travel tips, internet resources, and give you the opportunity to exchange American money for Euros so you do not have that hassle when we arrive.

If you have ever wanted to visit the cities of Madrid, Seville, Gibraltar, Costa del Sol, Granada, Valencia and Barcelona, indulge in succulent Castillian cuisine, feel the rhythm of flamenco dancing, view personally the architecture of Gaudi, visit the impressive Gothic cathedrals, visit a Moorish town, tour a castle that boosts more than 2,500 extravagant rooms, shop in local markets or purchase Lladró porcelain, or just sip a cerveza at a sunny café, this trip is likely one you should consider. Included will also be a one day excursion to Morocco!
