Awards

Delta College bestows a number of awards to students for academic achievement and service to the community, and faculty, staff and members of the Great Lakes Bay Region who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Award of Distinction

The Delta College Award of Distinction was developed in 2012 to recognize non-alumni who provide outstanding service to the College. Professional, personal, civic and philanthropic pursuits that reflect the College’s high standards and values are considered in selecting recipients of the award.

Distinguished Alumni Award

Delta College recognizes outstanding graduates who have made a significant contribution to the College and its students. Graduates are recognized for their visibility and respect, professional achievements and career distinction, service to society, and service and support to Delta College.

Graduate Student Awards

Delta College honors winners of Graduate Student Awards at a ceremony prior to graduation each April. At the ceremony, outstanding students receive awards recognizing their academic achievement, hard work and persistence in a number of curricula.

Non-Endowed Awards

A number of Delta College donors have established funds that provide non-endowed awards recognizing students for their leadership, and outstanding student tutors and mentors.

Other Endowed Awards

Because of the generosity of donors who have established endowments in honor or in memory of others, Delta College presents a number of other endowed awards to students who are recognized for their academic achievement.
