What We Do
Administration
Facilities administration supports the department's goals in providing prompt, efficient delivery of its services. Its function serves to execute the department's administrative charges while striving for increased departmental productivity, improved efficiency, and cost containment. Accountabilities include the administration of the college insurance and risk management program, development of departmental policy and procedure to promote standards and consistency, tracking campus projects and fixed assets, maintaining the campus wayfinding system, and promoting a sustainable campus through various iniatives.
Operations & Maintenance
Operations & Maintenance is the communication hub of Facilities Management handling several thousand requests per year. The department is dedicated to excellence in service by providing healthy, safe, and comfortable working and educational environments. Through a regular program of preventative maintenance, prompt professional service, and a green cleaning program, the department strives to improve the appearance, operation, and functional life of Delta's facilities.
Planning Design & Construction
Our mission is to effectivey manage the planning, developing, and implementation of projects of varied scope including new construction and deferred maintenance projects. With respect to a systematic approach to project development, the department strives to ensure success regardless of the project undertaking and to create a physical environment favorable to learning and teaching.
