LIT 260, Literature and History of the Holocaust
Prerequisite: A "C" grade or better in a college level composition I course. Introduces Holocaust studies. Covers the years 1933 to 1945, focusing on the role of perpetrators, victims, bystanders, and those involved in resistance and rescue. Uses a variety of literature that assesses how did the Holocaust happen? Who is responsible? What can we learn from this catastrophe? (45-0)
