When you're ready to apply for a job or internship, the Career Development team is ready to help you. From mock interviews to resume reviews and more, there's a lot you can do in advance to feel your best about going into that interview. 

Resume and cover letter review 

The Career Development Office can assist you with preparing, reviewing and providing feedback on your employment application materials, such as cover letters and resumes. Templates have been provided for you under resources on the lower left-hand side of this page. Once your materials are ready, schedule an appointment with a career advisor.

Sample interview questions

Are you looking for sample interview questions to help you prepare for that upcoming interview? Look no further than Ready, Prep, Interview.  You can search and find interview questions specific to the position you are interviewing for.

Virtual mock interviews 

Big Interview is an exclusive online interview system for Delta students and alumni that combines training and practice to help improve your interview technique and build your confidence.

Here are steps to set up your Big Interview account: 

• • Go to delta.biginterview.com and click "Register"
  • Use your studentname@delta.edu email
  • Complete registration process
  • You will receive a confirmation email at your Delta email address. Click "Verify" in the mail and you'll be able to start using Big Interview.

In-person mock interviews 

If you are looking to brush up on your interviewing skills or if you have never interviewed for a job before, call the Career Development Office to schedule a mock interview. A mock interview provides you with an opportunity to practice interviewing with one of a career advisor who understands interviewing principles and what employers are looking for.  The advisor will provide feedback and what you can work on prior to that real interview.
