Safe & Healthy Pioneers

As campus gradually reopens and we continue to adapt, all Pioneers play an important part in taking care of each other.

To keep our campus and community as healthy as possible, the college’s COVID-19 Response Team has put in place a plan for fall that aligns with federal and local guidelines and best practices. Whether you’re returning to campus or continuing to work or study from home, learn what Delta is doing to prepare and how you can keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy.

Delta Reopening Guidelines

  • Evaluate your health before traveling to campus by completing a health screening.
  • Follow Delta directional signage in all buildings and public areas.
  • Maintain physical distances of six feet or more at all times.
  • Wear a proper face mask or covering in all public areas, as recommended by the CDC.
  • Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds.

Fall 2020

The fall semester began on August 29. The college and its services are open to admitted and registered students. At this time, we are closed to the general public. Many faculty and staff will continue to work remotely and more than half of Delta classes will be offered online. Delta is also holding hybrid courses and some on-campus courses that are being taught in-person with appropriate safeguards. The return of students for face-to-face instruction will vary according to programs and majors.

Winter 2021

The winter 2021 semester, starting January 9, will be fashioned in much the same manner as the fall 2020 semester.  This means that we are anticipating a high level of online instruction, due to the continuing pandemic. We’ve made the decision early to allow ample time for faculty, staff and students to prepare. More details will be posted as they become available.

Students can see how their classes will be delivered by logging in to their self service account

COVID-19 cases

Delta College will report confirmed cases of employees and registered students who have physically been on one of our properties within the past 14 days.

These cases are confirmed positive cases for current Delta students, faculty and staff. Unless specifically noted, they are not indicative of an outbreak currently taking place at Delta College.”
