Special Event Furniture & Equipment Setup

Latex Safe Product Use
The college encourages and requests that only latex safe gloves and balloons be used on the premises to avoid potential related risks and allergic reactions to employees, students and visitors. Latex gloves and balloons are two items with greater exposures and staff, students and visitors to the campus are encouraged to use safe alternatives when the use of these items are needed.
Sign stands are available in sizes to accommodate either 8 ½" x 11" or 11" x 16" paper inserts. Requests for sign stands must be made through Operations & Maintenance by completing a Sign/Stand Request Form (PDF) and a floor layout plan to indicate sign placement. The requestor is responsible for placing paper announcements in stands, and to maintain a high-quality image to guests, students, and staff, all sign inserts must include name, date, starting and ending time of event and the name and phone number of a contact person. Emergency and non-emergency maintenance such as spills, gas leaks, temperature concerns, etc., can be requested by calling Operations & Maintenance, Monday through Friday at (989) 686-9240 up until 6:00pm. On Weekends and after 6:00pm, urgent requests can be submitted through the Public Safety Dispatcher at (989)686-9111. Routine maintenance can be requested by sending a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
