Transfer Credits from High School or Tech Center

High School and Technical Center Articulation is a process by which students have the opportunity to earn college credits for career and technical courses they take in high school or at a technical center. Delta College partners with high schools and technical centers to create and maintain articulation agreements that outline transferrable coursework to Delta.

How does it work?

If you completed a high school or technical center course that is eligible for articulation with a grade of B or higher, you may then fill out an Articulated Course Credit Application (PDF) with your high school or technical center counselor. A representative from your high school or technical center will send the completed Course Credit Application to Delta's Registrar on your behalf. Eligible courses that can be articulated are listed below by school.

Once you have applied and been admitted to Delta College as a degree-seeking student, and you have met all the criteria for high school or technical center articulation, appropriate credits are placed on your transcript as articulated credit. There is no charge for these credits. You must be attending Delta College as a degree-seeking student within two (2) years of high school graduation to be eligible for articulated credit.

Will the credits transfer to another college?

Articulated high school or technical center credit is intended to be used toward the attainment of a completed degree at Delta, and is not intended for additional transfer. You should check with the college or university you are transferring to from Delta in order to see if the credits are eligible for transfer.

Current course agreements

Articulation agreements give you an opportunity to earn college credit if your high school or area technical career center courses are articulated with Delta College courses. Earned articulation credit reduces repetition, and saves you time and money. Click on your high school or techical center to see what agreements are available for you.
