Picasa Web Photo Library

The Picasa Web photo library is provided by the Office of Marketing and Public Relations to content authors for use on their Delta College webpages. These photos have been approved for use for their quality and written consent of the individuals photographed. They have been optimized for the Web and resized to fit the Delta College website template.

OIT has created a Picasa plug-in for Sitebuilder, which allows you to view and insert photos from the Picasa Web Albums right into your webpages. The Picasa button is the last button on the Sitebuilder editor.

Once you click on the Picasa button, you have the option to search photos by "Albums" or keyword "Tag". Double click the folder of your choice.

You will then get a list of category folders. Double click your selection.

Choose the photo file you want in your webpage and click insert.

You can also view the albums online at http://picasaweb.google.com/DeltaCollegePhotos, where you can download them to your computer. Because the photos are optimized for the Web and monitor resolution, if you would like a print quality photo, please request another format from Marketing.

The Picasa Web photos will be updated by Marketing as new photos become available. This will ensure that photos stay current over the years. If you find that a photo you like has been replaced, contact Marketing at ext. 9227 for a copy of the old photo.
