Political Science 

Political science is the study of governments, public policies and political processes, as well as political systems, theory and behavior.

The mission of the political science discipline is to engage students in political discourse and to heighten their knowledge of and ability to analyze political actors and institutions at the local, state, national and global levels. We believe this focus will increase students’ awareness of the impact of politics on their lives and encourage them toward civic participation. By analyzing their political environment, educated citizens promote responsive and responsible government.
