Scholarships are available for Delta students who want to study abroad. Students may find approved programs in the informational travel links on the left or may be able to apply a scholarship to one of Delta's future International Study Tours.

Delta College International Study Abroad Scholarship - Application Deadline - November 16, 2009
Submit completed application, including references and essay to:

Eligibility requirements for the International Study Abroad Scholarship:
- Earn at least 12 credit hours at Delta College prior to the trip start date.
- Earn a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA for courses completed at Delta College prior to the trip start date.
- Recommend that applicants apply for Financial Aid. (Financial aid eligibility determined through Delta College's Financial Aid Office (D-101) Scholarship funds will apply towards tuition then travel expenses.)
- Request Transcript (Student copy is sufficient)
Betty B. and S. Preston Jones International Scholarship Endowment - Application Deadline November 16 of the year before you desire to travel.
Eligibility requirements for the Betty B. and S. Preston Jones International Scholarship Endowment:
- Delta College student who is enrolled in an academic program leading to an Associate degree.
- Successfully completed at least one year of study at Delta College.
- Achieved a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Written educational plan for academic study, field practicum, or service in another country.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship (see website for scholarship application requirements)
The Gilman International Scholarship Program offers a competition for awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.
