Academic Testing Center How To's
- How do I make up a test or quiz I’ve missed?
- Students must make arrangements with their instructor to have make-up tests brought to the Academic Testing Center (ATC) in room A121. You may call ahead to see if we have your test by dialing (989)686-9182. A photo ID with first and last name is required before any exam is administered at the Academic Testing Center.
- How can I get a test proctored?
- Delta students must make arrangements with their instructor if they wish to have a Delta class exam proctored at an off-campus site. The instructor will work directly with the Academic Testing Center coordinator to make the necessary arrangements.
- Non-Delta students wishing to have an exam proctored at Delta College must have the requesting college/university contact the Academic Testing Center coordinator directly by dialing (989)686-9014, faxing (989)686-2213 or emailing mrallen@delta.edu.
- How do I make an appointment for a computerized exam?
- Once students have been informed that their exams will be administered on the computers located in the Academic Testing Center, students may call anytime during regular business hours to make appointments for computer time (989) 686-9182. Regular business hours are posted on our website at www.delta.edu/llic/hours.html. A photo ID with first and last name is required before any exam is administered at the Academic Testing Center. Appointments are recommended but not required. Walk-ins will be accepted on space availability only. The Academic Testing Center has 6 computers for student use.
- How can I find out what the student guidelines are for using the Academic Testing Center?
- Student guidelines have been established to ensure the integrity of the Academic Testing Center environment and student safety. The student guidelines are available in print form at the Academic Testing Center and on our website at www.delta.edu/acadtest/Guidelines-student.doc. If you have any questions regarding them, please ask your Academic Testing Center monitor for clarification prior to beginning your exam.
- How can I give the Academic Testing Center feedback?
- The Academic Testing Center has a variety of ways students can give feedback regarding the services they receive including 1) the ATC suggestion box in the immediate area, 2) the LLIC suggestion box located in the front of the facility, 3) directly to one of the Academic Testing Center monitors, 4) the ATC coordinator, 5) the LLIC manager, and/or 6) your instructor. Feedback is welcomed.
