Areas of interest

For the past few years I was involved in multidisciplinary projects focused on:

  1. molecular and immunological mechanisms that prompt patients with systemic inflammatory diseases to atheroma development,
  2. specific COX-2 inhibitors as anti-inflammatory agents and cause of cardiovascular disease, and
  3. dual role of Il-33 in allergy

As a new instructor at Delta College, I hope to use my knowledge and experience in research to develop a great learning environment for future allied health and nursing professionals.
