Biology Department
The Biology discipline includes approximately 30 instructors teaching over 25 courses. Their fields of study are divided roughly into General Survey Courses, Field Studies, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Genetics, Comparative Anatomy and Physiology, and Enrichment Courses. Our instructors are highly trained and routinely speak at State and National conferences in their specific fields. They work one-on-one with students and often help them as they make career choices or plot a plan of study. Much of our instruction is based on hands-on lab work and peer interaction. We offer face-to-face style courses, hybrid CNET courses (using Internet tools for some portions) and completely Internet-based INET courses as well!
