SAVE THE DATE FOR 2014 -- October 10 & 11, 2014!

If you are motivated by the mysteries of life, fascinated by the stars, intrigued by the laws of nature, or enthralled with dinosaurs, there has never been a better time to study science at Delta College than right now. Delta's Science Division offers the disciplines of biology, chemistry, geography, geology and physics (with astronomy) to meet your educational needs. We also offer several associate degrees in technology and pre-professional transfer programs for our students.

Regardless of how employment trends change, there is a constant demand in our area for people who are well trained in the scientific and technical fields. We're talking about jobs with good pay that allow you to be part of the grander scheme of things - improving the quality of life, both yours and others. There has never been a better time to be enrolled in the Science Division transfer and associate degree programs offered here at Delta College!

Delta College is proud to offer several awards and scholarships that are specifically designed for students in the Science Division. There are currently two graduate awards given to Science students and four scholarships designed to help them financially while they pursue their degrees.

In our lecture/lab spaces, you can work with an array of analytical instrumentation in chemistry, digitally analyze trajectories in physics, research plant growth patterns in our modern greenhouse, or learn geology in the Boulder Walkway (part of our Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow Science Center). There are also opportunities to create your own course and earn credit doing a special project related to your own area of interest in collaboration with the science faculty.
