Student and Civic Engagement

Student Resource Center

The purpose of the resource center is to provide various cultural communities a place to leave support or reference materials.  The Resource Center is designed to be self-service for students who are encouraged to stop by on their own accord in a no-pressure, non-judgmental environment.  The location provides an area of soft seating where students can spend time reviewing materials.

Currently, the area includes resources for the following cultural communities:

Free Support and Reference Materials

The Student Resource Center offers a variety of brochures, magazines, newspapers, books and other forms of information.  Students should feel free to browse the information, informally borrowing whatever they'd like (though items without extra copies, such as books, should be returned later). While the center isn't officially staffed, volunteers, student groups and other faculty/staff may hold office hours or sometimes meet in the area.
