Sexual Harassment & Registered Sex Offender Information
Delta College believes that an informed public is a safety-conscious public. The following crime statistics, are provided in compliance with the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act" formerly known as the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, are for your information. A written request, for crime statistics involving major off-campus sites, has been made to the police agency having jurisdiction over each off-campus site. Any crime statistics for these off-campus sites, which have been included in these statistics, reflect only those offenses which have been brought to our attention. The "Forcible Sex Offenses" for the year 2005 involved an attempted, Criminal Sexual "Contact" Offense. The "Forcible Sex Offenses" for 2006 & 2007 involved Criminal Sexual "Contact" Offenses.

Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is not acceptable at Delta College, and complaints or charges will be followed through the appropriate action. Unwelcomed sexual advances, whether verbal or physical, are prohibited. Delta College students and employees are individually responsible to ensure such harassment does not occur. Incidents of sexual harassment must be made known to the appropriate Academic, Student Services, Human Resources or Affirmative Action Offices. Registered Sex Offender Information
In accordance with the Jacob Wetterling Act, Megan's Law, and the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000, it is now mandatory that all registered sex offenders who attend, are employed, or volunteer at an institute of higher learning MUST report this information, as well as their residency information, to the local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction where the sex offender resides . (An institution of higher learning is defined as "a public or private community college, college, university, public or private trade school, vocational school, and/or occupational school".)
