Course Description

Prerequisite: RC 104. Studies the construction, placement, and installation procedures of cabinets used in residential buildings. (45-60)

Outcomes and Objectives

Demonstrate the safe use of both hand and power carpentry tools.

Objectives:

  • Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a table saw.
  • Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a planer.
  • Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a radial arm saw.
  • Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a miter saw.
  • Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a shaper.

Apply terminology associated with cabinet construction industry.
