Course Description

Prerequisite: Michigan Mechanic Training Permit. Provides work experience in the operation, maintenance, and service of customer vehicles in a licensed repair facility. Emphasizes areas of drivelines, automatic transmission, HVAC, suspension, and electrical repair. (0-150)

Outcomes and Objectives

Diagnose/repair/service suspension, HVAC, electrical, drivelines, and automatic transmissions to meet factory service information standards and NATEF task list requirements.

Objectives:

  • Perform all necessary tasks on live customer vehicles to the customer's satisfaction and industry standards.
  • Required to document completed repairs.
